Update on the intention behind this blog: as opinions, ideas, and the content of the mind change over time, shaped by various events, the purpose of this blog is to explore how a person’s thoughts, ideas, and vision of the world evolve—using the writer as the subject, the test bunny. While it will naturally serve other purposes, such as providing a space for expression and sharing these thoughts, its overarching aim is to document how concepts of self and perspective shift over time.
I also want to experiment with writing styles. Sometimes, I might write a story instead of directly sharing my thoughts—using metaphorical content to reflect the mind’s dynamics. Abstract stories and metaphors often point to the subconscious, revealing what’s hard to verbalize or articulate.
The reason for this overarching purpose is that one realized all that one writes about—the internal ideas and thoughts—are subject to being modified, changed, shaped, or are most certainly biased, as the knowledge of anyone is always limited, always operating within a certain scope, interpreting the new as the familiar, and so on.
So, one thought occurred to the writer: what’s the point of writing thoughts and ideas if they might all be completely changed in the end? Well, one will not simply give up on writing, as writing itself is a skill that might evolve into something else, potentially opening up opportunities and connections in the future, driven by the writer’s long-standing desire for self-expression. The writer once pursued this through photography and Photoshop, but now has the means to articulate those words directly.
This blog is personal, and I fully understand that there is no audience at the moment. I’ve only recently started writing these posts, and as I’m not a public figure, I am not widely known.
However, writing a blog is my way of connecting with others. Very few people I know share an interest in the topics I discuss. Online connections and the web provide a way to reach those who are genuinely interested, creating a space where like-minded people can engage with these ideas.
