I don’t know whether I should do it.
Do it. Give them a show.
Alright.
Welcome to this story about two brothers. It’s a lovely story.
There was only one brother. Well then—not a brother. An only child. But as the first one was growing up, a new child came into the world. His brother.
His brother was young and didn’t know much about the world. So the older brother told him, “Don’t worry! I’ll take care of that. I’ll help you.”
And there it was—two brothers working together, in secret, as neither of them told anyone about their clever cooperation.
The older brother gathered more and more knowledge and used it to create plans. The younger brother lived his life, not really thinking too much, but being a pure, unfiltered version of himself. People liked him because they could connect with him—because of how open he was, and how skilled he was at perceiving everything around him without fear.
As time went on, the older and younger brothers grew up. They went to university. The older brother learned Vietnamese, while the younger pursued a physical training major, along with arts and philosophy.
These two brothers not only cooperated in life—they also shared their skills. The older taught the younger the language he was learning. So, both of them spoke Vietnamese, even though the younger never attended a single course. The older was a great teacher, and that’s how he could share a foreign language with his brother.
While the older brother handled all the memorizing and studying, he passed on what he learned, so both of them mastered Vietnamese.
The younger taught the older brother about physical training, psychology, philosophy of inquiry, and creative arts.
They shared their knowledge and combined their strengths by teaching each other.
When the university years ended, the two brothers stepped out into the world—to change their lives forever.
But although they shared skills and knowledge, they had different lifestyles and ways of thinking. They couldn’t reach a middle ground. Their approaches to life clashed so often that eventually, they drifted apart. The younger brother disappeared somewhere, while the older one stayed where he was.
The older brother struggled. Without the keen, fearless eye of his younger brother, he was completely lost. He saw only patterns—only what he had learned. And since he couldn’t learn reality itself, his actions were always limited, based on knowledge alone, never quite able to meet the moment fully.
He lived a life where he was skilled at retaining information but unable to truly see without it.
Enough was enough.
He picked up the phone.
He dialed the number.
It had been years since the two had spoken—one always busy with life, the other living somewhere beneath it all, hidden, mysterious, adventurous, and spontaneous.
A: “What’s up?”
O: “I need your help.”
A: “I know.”
O: “How do you know?”
A: “I grew up with you. I know everything about you. I know what you can’t do in life.”
O: “That makes sense. So… are you going to help me?”
A: “Depends…”
O: “Depends on what?”
A: “Are you still going to be busy with that busy life? Or will you actually pay attention—and forget everything you think you know?”
O: “Yes.”
A: “…Surprised.”
O: “Why?”
A: “Usually you’d start with something like: there’s still stuff to do, so many plans, rewards, etc.”
O: “Yeah, I’m done with all that.”
A: “Hey—it’s fine. You can keep what really matters on that schedule, but you’ve gotta cut back on the rest. Efficiency isn’t about spending more time—it’s actually the opposite.”
O: “I get you. I’ll send you the plan tomorrow.”
A: “And I’ll trim down the rest. Surprise me—make the timing unarguable.”
O: “What do I get in return?”
A: “I’ll help you see the world. And fix up your image. You’ve got no idea how much a look can change a guy—even on the inside.”
O: “Yeah… my image needs fixing. I’ve been working on that.”
A: “Can you feel the results?”
O: “Definitely. It’s almost bizarre how much you can change, even when it doesn’t look like it. Even when you’re still focused on all the losses, trying to eliminate them.”
A: “Don’t talk too much—I’m losing track. Don’t zone out on me, alright?”
O: “Yeah. So… when can I expect you?”
A: “Very soon. Just don’t change your mind. You can’t handle this alone, okay? I heard how much you’ve been struggling. Stay strong—especially at the start. It won’t be easy, but it’ll be fun. Even when it doesn’t seem like it.”
O: “I’m ready.”
A: Good. I remember you, and I still see you as a scared introvert. But what you couldn’t break, I can help you overcome—and make your obstacles disappear.
O: Sounds promising.
A: Far more than promising. It’s your tomorrow.
The two brothers were destined to meet. Since the younger brother was far out in the wild, it took time for him to fully arrive. But they shared phone calls, they talked to each other—the younger brother, the young spirit, was advising the older brother: the over-accumulated, impressive, but decaying knowledge.
Life was already changing for him.
It turned out the younger brother was full of wisdom—the kind of wisdom you can’t get from books. Living wisdom.
Some of it was the complete opposite of what the older brother believed in. And sure, there was conflict—a lot of it. But also a lot of revelation, hesitation, fear of what was ignored and misinterpreted by the older. A lot of crazy nights, unbelievable conversations, and even quite frequent fights for control, mostly due to denial.
It was an explosion of colors.
Things that were alive by thought broke. Everything breaks, burns into flames. Dangerous—sometimes standing on the brink of spiritual life. But we love this chaos. Because we can already see the changes coming.
After years apart, the two brothers were willing to stick it out and work together again—laughing through their composed, united opposites of insanity. And, importantly, the older brother was now making sacrifices he once thought he never could.
The story ends here—but as we all know, the end of one thing… is the birth of another.
